Job Title: New Build House Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated cleaner to join our team. H&M Cleaning have been operating for over 20 years and have a well established relationship with all the major house builders across Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning New build homes in a variety of different areas throughout West and East of Scotland. We work on active building sites and also the Showhomes where attention to detail is important. Each day is different as we do Builders cleans, Demo cleans, Sparkle cleans, Showhome cleans and Stock plot cleans.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise bathrooms, tiles, kitchens, cabinets, windows, doors, hinges, fixtures and fittings. Also skirting boards other common areas will need to be cleaned. Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. CSCS card is preferred however training course available. Driving is essential. Own car needed. Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. General fitness is a huge advantage as it is a very physical job.

Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence Good attention to detail Hardworking and reliable Able to work well as part of a team Health Safety good working practices Available for overtime
Minimum 16 hours per week and option for additional hours.

16 hours will be split over 2 days normally over Wednesday and Thursday but may change due to business demands.

As business grows, opportunities for full time contracts are anticipated with in 6 months.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
