As a Cleaner - Healthcare, you will play a vital role in maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff within our healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include performing scheduled cleaning of patient rooms, clinical areas, waiting rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control. You will be expected to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment, follow strict protocols for infection prevention, and ensure that all waste, including clinical and hazardous waste, is disposed of correctly. Daily duties will also include restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to your supervisor.
We are seeking candidates who are attentive to detail and committed to upholding the cleanliness and hygiene standards essential in a healthcare setting. Previous experience in cleaning, especially in hospitals or clinics, is highly desirable, but not essential as training is provided. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and demonstrate excellent time management skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is required. A friendly and respectful attitude towards patients and staff is important at all times, and adherence to confidentiality and health and safety regulations is essential.
