Job Description

We require an Housekeeper/ cleaner to work 1pm to 6pm Monday to Friday to help with the afternoon end of day clean down at the children's nursery.

You will be responsible for cleaning the communal areas, all toilets and general support to help staff clean down the children's rooms at the end of the day. You will mirror work in conjunction with our other Housekeeper who carries out the same role during the morning session.

You will be responsible for cleaning individual children's play room on rotation, sterilising and sorting resources as you go, putting toys back into sets and back where they belong. You will be required to deep clean these areas, moving children's furniture to clean behind/ under, including hoovering, mopping areas. disinfecting shelving, cleaning finger marks from windows, scrubbing pen marks from floors and furniture ect ect ect.

Part of your role will be to help clean down after lunch time meals and support the tea time support staff with clean down after tea time meals. The last hour of your day will be to help staff to sort the play areas, toy tidy and set up for the following days play session.

You will need to know basic H & S, Manual Handling, have an understanding of COSHH and safeguarding. you will need a full DBS to carry out this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
