We currently have two permanent vacancies working Saturday mornings on a 40-week contract.


Balwearie High School (Community)



2 hours per week - 2 posts Saturdays only 7:00am to 9:00am 40-week contract.

Enhancements are paid for weekend working

You will earn a competitive salary of

24,740.74 pro-rata

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period) Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland) Generous holiday allowance Access to and support with training opportunities and qualifications for the job. Local and national discounts including cinema, supermarkets, restaurants, and retail. Travel expenses will be paid - we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car. This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate


The Person



Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.



You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
