3. Key Responsibilities
Launder bed linen, towels, children's clothing and similar items.
Undertake cleaning tasks as required, including vacuuming, cleaning internal surfaces, floors, toilets, and nappy changing areas.
Organise the purchase and safe storage of cleaning and laundry materials, and maintain essential stock for utility, toilet, and changing areas.
Ensure the utility area is kept clean, tidy, and well organised.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
Assist the Cook with meal preparation and food service as required.
Uphold the centre's policies on equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Implement relevant organisational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with day care standards and maintaining appropriate records.
Attend planning and staff meetings as required.
Work flexibly across all Children's Centres and early years settings within the service.
Undertake any additional duties as may reasonably be required to support the smooth running of the setting.
