We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in local holiday homes. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors.
Clean bathrooms, kitchens and other living spaces.
Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to policies.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the team leader.
Follow established safety procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all assigned areas.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet cleaning targets and schedules.
Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning is preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts if needed.
Work Environment:
Physically demanding work involving standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning is preferred but not required.
Driving licence not essential but preferable with own transport.
Hours:
Flexible hours to be arranged on a weekly rota basis, main changeover days are Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
