Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

You will be required to work within the general working hours of 9-3 Monday to Friday. 16-20 hours over 4 days. More hours available if required. Rota is given 1 week in advance.

You can be expected to work in all areas of the business dependant on business needs; Commercial cleaning, domestic cleaning, holidays lets, team cleans etc. Work vehicle available, your driving time is paid. If use of own car is required mileage is also paid per mile.

Our office/laundrette is located in Buckley CH7 2ED. You will mostly start and end your day at the office.

As the business grows, promotions are often available. Opportunities to work towards becoming a biohazard cleaner which pays between 15-20 per hour. Many training courses with certifications available.

General Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages. Follow health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Assist with special cleaning projects as required. Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.

Qualifications

Full UK valid license is essential for this role

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing cleaning or maintenance. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs.
