Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team 4-5 mornings per week (3 hours per morning). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and presentable. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily cleaning objectives.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.
