Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in Newport and surrounding areas. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards that reflect our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. As a Cleaner at Bell Cleaning Services, you will contribute to creating safe and welcoming environments for our clients. You will also be required to carry out additional one off work as part of your team which can include bodily fluid, needles, graffiti and waste clean ups.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in various settings such as offices, social housing, and commercial spaces. Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred. Valid driving license is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good customer service skills are advantageous. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning. Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning environments.
