Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation at one site in west bridgford on a Monday and Wednesday Morning 07:30-08:30 additional hours available at other sites if able to drive.

This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment with opportunities to develop their skills in commercial and residential cleaning.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in assigned areas Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing and polishing to maintain high-quality surfaces Handle custodial tasks including window washing, carpet cleaning, and surface disinfecting Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting issues to management Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing Ensure all work areas are left clean, organized, and safe at the end of each shift

Qualifications

Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is a plus Experience with industrial or facility maintenance tasks is advantageous Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts Prior experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is beneficial but not required
