Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and an ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including bakery equipment and floors, machinery, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Sanitize surfaces and ensure proper hygiene standards are met. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and used efficiently. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Skills

Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Strong customer service skills to address any inquiries or concerns from clients professionally. Ability to drive may be advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
