Cleaner (part Time)
Job Description
The Governors and Head Teacher are looking to appoint a Temporary Cleaner to join our team as soon as possible, with the potential to make this post permanent.
Grade OP1 - Starting salary 25,949 pro rata (this includes UK Living Wage)
Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
Upperby Primary School is a vibrant and happy learning community educating pupils aged 3-11. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and positive individual to join our team of Cleaners. Working hours will be 13 hours per week, Monday to Friday (3.15 pm to 5.50 pm). Please note that this role is subject to a probation period of 3 months.
Duties will include:
Cleaning designated area
Cooperating with other team members and staff
Reporting any issues to line manager
Follow Health and Safety Guidelines

This job is temporary until 31st August 2026. You will be expected to work some weeks during school closure.
