Yiangou Architects Ltd have been designing buildings of distinction for the last 40 years. We are an award-winning practice with a reputation for creating high quality traditional and contemporary architecture. Based in Cirencester, we are looking for a reliable part-time Office Cleaner to perform general cleaning and house keeping duties for our offices.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be hard-working, professional andable to undertake a variety of tasks with attention to detail and discretion. They will be able to follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent the occurrence of accidents and damages while ensuring the highest level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning offices, kitchens, WC's and other areas to keep them clean and tidy Cleaning floors and surfaces (sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping etc) Monitoring and organising of cleaning and kitchen supplies Ensure that waste is correctly disposed of in the designated areas i.e general waste and recycling Service wash duties for light office laundry i.e kitchen tea towels Occasional deep cleaning for kitchen equipment and ad hoc areas of the office Ensure that equipment are in good working order, reporting any faults to the Practice Manager Keeping the office premises secure, ensuring that windows are closed, lights switched off, doors are closed and alarm system is set Other janitorial duties as assigned

Job Details

Days of clean: Monday - Friday Part Time, Permanent Salary: 12.21 per hour / 15 hours per week Hours: from 5:00pm (3 hours per evening) subject to negotiation for the right candidate Location: Dyer Street, Cirencester Experience required: Minimum of one year experience in a similar role

Qualifications/Skills

Good communication and professionalism Excellent time keeping and attention to detail Willingness to adapt and be flexible Knowledge of COSHH procedures desirable but not essential Confident with securing the office premises
