Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at a well being centre. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The cleaning shift is one hour a day, either before the centre opens at 07:30 in the morning or after it closes at 19:30 at night. Cleans required Monday to Saturday. There is the possibility of gaining more hours within the company for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards. Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure bins are emptied regularly. Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed. Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding cleaning schedules or specific requirements. Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to get to and from site is a must, therefore we suggest you can either drive yourself or get a lift to and from work. Ability to work independently as this is a lone working position. Good command of English to understand instructions and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients and visitors. Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently within the team.
