We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the Surgery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall appearance and safety of our facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Maintain cleanliness in designated areas such as offices, washrooms, and communal spaces
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies
Requirements
Basic proficiency in English for effective communication with team members
Good communication skills to understand instructions and report issues clearly
Customer service orientation to ensure a positive experience for visitors and staff
Prior experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Organised, reliable, and punctual with a strong attention to detail
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
