Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and well-presented. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in commercial, residential, or industrial settings. Execute janitorial tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs. Follow safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Provide porter services as required, ensuring that all areas are accessible and well-maintained.

Experience

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards is advantageous. Experience in floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus. Background in residential painting or industrial cleaning will be considered an asset.
