Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and well-maintained. Execute janitorial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Carry out floor care activities including buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Assist with custodial responsibilities in both commercial and industrial settings. Support residential painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of properties. Maintain equipment and supplies in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.

Experience

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Experience in commercial cleaning environments is advantageous. Knowledge of industrial cleaning standards and practices is beneficial. Background in facilities maintenance or porter services will be considered an asset. A strong commitment to safety and quality standards in all cleaning tasks.
