Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers opportunities to work in diverse settings, including commercial, residential, and industrial spaces, utilizing a range of cleaning and custodial skills.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in assigned areas Utilize specialized cleaning equipment and products to maintain floors, carpets, and surfaces Conduct floor care tasks including buffing, polishing, and stripping as needed Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health standards Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance and minor repairs Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing Ensure all work areas are kept organized and free of hazards

Requirements

Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Prior porter or maintenance experience is advantageous but not required
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week

Work Location: In person
