About the Role

Part-Time contract: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Our Campus Cleaners support this goal by ensuring the college is a clean, safe and secure environment for all our students, staff and visitors, from the moment they step onto our campus to the moment we say goodbye.

We are looking for a cleaner to join our dedicated team.

What You Will Do

  • Undertake effective daily cleaning and tidying of the college premises to the agreed cleaning specification of the college, following relevant industry standards as well as Health & Safety, Security and Environmental arrangements as instructed.
  • Ensure that any faulty equipment is reported immediately and that any equipment is operated safely, with due attention to Health & Safety legislation.
  • Work flexibly and extend the cleaning service to cater for special events such as Open Days.
  • Monitor and report any areas of concern, assisting in housekeeping and maintenance of the building fabric.
About You
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience.
  • A good work-related knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude towards tidiness and housekeeping.

About Us

Harrogate College has excellent facilities and provides a professional and friendly environment. This will complement the college\'s existing tech centre which is home to its motor vehicle, electrical, joinery and welding workshops.
