We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers.
Job Purpose & Objectives:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
Clean, dust, and polish surfaces, furniture, and fittings.
Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and kitchen areas.
Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored properly.
Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required.
Essential Criteria
Previous cleaning experience (commercial, office, or domestic).
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good attention to detail and pride in high standards of cleanliness.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Awareness of health and safety practices, including safe use of cleaning chemicals.
Physically able to carry out manual tasks.
Desirable Criteria
Experience using specialist cleaning equipment (e.g. floor buffers).
Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
First Aid or Health & Safety training.
