We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time cleaner to join our team at The Village Inn. As a cleaner, you will ensure that our restaurant and bar areas are consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained. This is a key role in maintaining the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness that our customers and staff expect. This position requires weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities

:

General Cleaning

: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the restaurant and bar areas. Clean tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces regularly. Wipe down and disinfect counters, shelves, and storage areas. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked. Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.

Weekend Availability

: Must be available to work during weekends, including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

:

Previous cleaning or janitorial experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and safe handling practices. Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Good communication skills and reliability.

Schedule

:

Part-time, flexible hours with an emphasis on mornings and weekends.
