We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team for evening shifts on Thursdays and Fridays. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure facilities are fully equipped. Handle custodial tasks including waste removal, surface disinfecting, and window cleaning to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with light maintenance duties such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.

Experience

Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is highly desirable. Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance will be considered an asset. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and steam cleaners is advantageous. Previous porter or custodial roles that involved comprehensive cleaning routines will strengthen your application. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines effectively.
