SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout HSG Security Ltd offices, ensuring a safe, organised, and pleasant environment for employees, clients and visitors. The cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining the workplace's overall appearance and functionality, contributing to employee wellbeing and the efficient operation of the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Cleaner you will be required to:
Daily Cleaning
: Vacuum all office area floors, and common spaces.
Meeting rooms
: Ensure meeting rooms are clean and organised, including tidying chairs and tables
Dusting and Wiping
: Clean and sanitise desks, chairs and other furniture, as well as windows and glass surfaces.
Restrooms
: Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and mirrors. Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
Waste Management
: Empty and dispose of trash and recycling form bins in offices and common areas.
Kitchen Areas
: Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including wiping down counters, emptying bins, cleaning sinks and moping the floor.
Maintenance
: Report any damages or maintenance issues encountered during cleaning tasks to Line Manager.
Healthy and Safety
: Follow health and safety guidelines, using cleaning chemicals responsibly and ensuring the office space remains safe for employees and visitors.
Equipment Care
: Maintain cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring they are used properly and stored safely.
Requirements:
Have the right to work in the UK
Good attention to detail
Good communication skills
Proactive attitude to work
Experience in a similar role is preferred but full training will be provided
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Please note that all candidates will have to go through a DBS process prior to employment and will need a full five-year checkable work history.
FLEXABILITY
All job roles could be subject change due to operational and client needs. You may be asked to take on other tasks within the business during certain periods of a working week.
