School Cleaner on a Temp to Perm contract

Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Overview:

We are seeking a conscientious and dedicated Cleaner to join our site team. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors across the school premises.

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces. Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and toilet facilities to a high standard. Ensure all areas are maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations. Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively. Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Site Supervisor or Business Manager.

Person Specification:

Previous cleaning experience (essential). Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A high level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. Excellent awareness of health and safety procedures in a cleaning environment. Must be able to pass full vetting checks in line with safeguarding requirements. Applicants must have no criminal convictions.
