Job Title: Dental Practice Cleaner (Part-Time)

Practice Name: Spinney Brook Dental Practice

Location: Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire

Hours: 3 days per week

Flexible hours - preferably early mornings or evenings (outside patient hours)

Job Purpose:

To ensure the dental practice is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control, supporting safe clinical care in both NHS and private settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Non-Clinical Areas

Clean reception, waiting area, corridors, toilets, and staff areas etc. Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish floors and surfaces Clean doors, handles, switches, and high-touch points regularly Maintain cleanliness of staff kitchen and rest areas
General Duties

Follow infection control, COSHH, CQC Standards and health & safety policies Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately Report faults, damages, or hazards to the Practice Manager Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Essential Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience (healthcare setting desirable but not essential) High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Able to work independently Right to work in the UK
Desirable (but not essential):

Experience in a dental or medical environment Knowledge of infection control procedures DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
