Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at 1 Liverpool gardens Worthing . This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties

Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Assist with organising cleaning schedules and prioritising tasks effectively Interact courteously with clients and staff, providing excellent customer service at all times Drive company vehicles when required for transporting cleaning supplies or equipment to different locations Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a secure working environment

Experience

Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Customer service experience is advantageous, demonstrating professionalism and friendly interaction with clients Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving vehicle operation
