Two Rivers Veterinary Practice is moving to brand new purpose built premises in Cavalry Park, Peebles, and is looking for a cleaner.
The role will involve cleaning consulting rooms, reception, offices, staffroom and toilets at the end of each working day. There may also be some cleaning of clinical areas following surgical procedures, and in-patient facilties. Some knowledge of infection control in a veterinary or medical environment would be advantageous, but full training will be given as required.
Hours are negotiable, but we envisage 10-12 hours per week, most likely in the evenings and perhaps a Saturday afternoon. The successful candidate will be punctual, reliable, and hard working with a cheery and positive 'can-do' attitude. They must be able to take direction but also work unsupervised and on their own initiative. Attention to detail is a must!
Salary will be Scottish Living Wage. Paid annual leave is 30 days per year (including bank holidays). There is a 4% employer pension contribution, and sick and maternity pay policies are in excess of statutory (benefits dependant on length of service). References are required and will be followed up.
