Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in Penarth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of a Hospice setting contributing to our commitment to high-quality service.
Responsibilities
Carry out cleaning tasks in designated areas, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Clean bedrooms (including making beds), restrooms, communal spaces, playrooms, and other assigned areas.
Perform specialised cleaning duties such as fogging, steaming, and floor scrubbing.
Follow established cleaning and maintenance procedures.
Promptly report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Support special cleaning projects as required.
Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report any shortages.
Deliver excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
Comply with all health and safety regulations at all times.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred
Strong command of the English language
Excellent customer service skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Valid driving license is an advantage but not essential due to accessing site
Working hours
You will be required to work alternating weekly shifts:
Week 1 from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and Week 2 from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM (no changes to this schedule will be accepted)
