Job Description
The busy Garden Cafe at Glendoick Garden Centre is looking to recruit a part time Cleaner/Cafe Assistant to join our friendly front of house team. The position is Monday to Friday, 20-25 hours a week, working afternoons and finishing no later than 6pm, but more likely 5.30pm
Main Duties
Cleaning cafe, soft play area and cafe toilets to a high standard daily Carry out deep cleans of all cafe areas, soft play and cafe toilets on a rotational basis Carry out daily checks of children's soft play equipment, clean as required Wash and dry any cafe & kitchen laundry Vacuum and mop office area, staff room and corridors Ensure outdoor seating area is kept clean and tidy and bins emptied as required Assist with table clearing in the cafe and in the dishwash area as required Sweep up in cafe and ensure toilets are kept clean as necessary to maintain cleanliness standards during cafe opening hours Mop up any spillages as notified / that you see during the cafe opening hours
Pay rates are in accordance with national living wage for under 21s and 12.25 per hour for those aged 21 and over.
Due to our location and lack of public transport, applicants must have a driver's licence and have access to their own vehicle.
