mour hotel is a 4-star boutique hotel situated centrally on the Sherwood Business Park amongst an array of upmarket businesses and at a stone throw away from junction 27 of the M1. Designed by Amanda Rosa, the imposing building has an American loft feeling offering a quirky, yet luxurious place to meet, dine and sleep. Awarded most stylish hotel in 2006, guests can expect all their needs to be truly catered for in one of our 92 spacious en-suite bedrooms. Every modern amenity has been thought of for the discerning traveller.

Purpose of job:

Responsible for the security and the cleanliness of the hotel at night time.

Hours of Work:

11pm - 7am; 2-3 (7.5 hours per shift) shifts per week

Main area of responsibilities

- To ensure that strict security is maintained in respect of all money, keys, guest property, lost property and hotel equipment as per Mour standards

- To make sure the cleanliness of the hotel is up to the Mour standards, public area cleaning.

- To address complaints properly and deal with situations smoothly as and when they arrive.

- To ensure that the public areas are cleaned in a manner that exceeds our guest's expectations and is to the Mour standards.

- Use the appropriate materials and resources to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness (SOP and training)

- Ensure lost property is labelled, bagged and handed to the Night Manager for safe keeping on a daily basis (safe available if valuable properties)

- Report all maintenance faults to the Night manager or maintenance manager

- Ensure all resources and equipment are stocked and maintained to department standards, with control

- To carry out duties as laid down in the Front Office SOP manual and Night Managers checklist

- To carry out reasonable duties for the efficient operation of the hotel

- To communicate any potential problems to the Night Manager.

- To be aware of health & safety in your workplace.

- To comply with all licensing legislation.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
