Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as break rooms, restrooms, hallways, and entryways to ensure a hygienic environment. Conduct routine floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to preserve floor quality and safety standards. Handle custodial tasks such as waste removal, sanitation of surfaces, and restocking supplies in designated areas. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks that may involve the use of specialized equipment or chemicals for heavy-duty cleaning. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any safety hazards or maintenance needs observed during cleaning duties. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Prior janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or commercial settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation procedures. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
