We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our home, ensuring a safe and clean home. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a tidy, organised space.
The role is to help a Disabled couple and their care staff keep their bungalow in tip top clean and tidy condition. The couple do have a dog, so liking dogs is a must.
Duties
Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
Laundry when needed.
Changing the bed.
Loading / Unloading the dishwasher and any other washing up.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens to meet health and safety standards
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation tasks
Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners to ensure cleaning expectations are met
Qualifications
Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is required
Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally and be friendly.
Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness
