We have permanent vacancies to join our team of Cleaners at Lindsay House Care Home.


Shifts are between 7:30am and 2:30pm.


Lumphinnans:


Post 1 - Lindsay House Care Home - working 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year as required on a rota which is 5 days over 7. This is on a rota and will include working weekends. Enhancements are paid for weekend working Post 2 - Lindsay House Care Home - working 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year as required on a rota which is 5 days over 7. You will earn a competitive salary of 24,740.74 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:


We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is every 4 weeks. This work is about ensuring residents and staff can live or work in a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

The Person

No previous experience is required as full training is given.


You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
