Job Description

Part time early morning cleaner required, mainly term time but possibility of school holiday work also, to work at a school, Monday to Friday 6am to 8am. The successful candidate will join a team of supervised cleaners. As there is no public transport this early, living locally and/or having access to your own transport is essential as each shift is just 2 hours long. The employer will prioritise those who can get to DA11 7JB in around 15 minutes.

While there is pro rata holiday of 21 days a year that must be taken during school holidays, please note that there will be some unpaid weeks leave during the school holidays. The employer offers a pro rata pay scheme, that evens out the employees earnings over a 6 month period, but this is not obligatory.

The chosen applicant will have been able to show that they are reliable, industrious, honest, able to accept and carry out instructions but also capable of using their initiative.

Tasks will all be related to cleaning and so will suit someone prepared to take on a physically demanding role.

The role requires an enhanced childworkforce DBS certificate. If the chosen candidate does not have and enhanced child workforce DBS check registered with the update service, they will need to consent to a new check being undertaken by the employer. Candiates that have an enhanced child workforce DBS check, especially if that is registered with the update service, will have a strong advantage as the employer is looking to recruit quickly.

Hired employees need to have their own smartphone with data and location services enabled to use our attendance logging system. Also a smart phone or device with internet access will be required during the application and training of the successful candidate.
