Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care and support. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting independence, well-being, and quality of life for clients. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as mobility, and household tasks Support clients in attending appointments, social activities, and community events Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote confidence and independence Maintain accurate records of support provided and any changes in client needs Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care Drive clients safely to various destinations as required, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations Promote a positive environment through effective communication and empathetic listening Follow organisational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all clients Cleaning and tidying clients homes

Requirements

Valid driving licence with clean driving record and fully comprehensive business insurance Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Proven experience in customer service or caring roles is desirable but not essential Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others Good organisational skills and attention to detail Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules Current up to date dbs food hygiene certificate- however this can be completed at next stage
This role is ideal for individuals committed to making a positive impact within the community, offering an enriching experience that fosters personal growth while supporting those in need.

Between 4-10 hours to start with but we have new enquiries regularly for cleans so more hours and clients can be given if wanted

Please note this job is on a self employed basis

You will have a regular client base- we ensure clients get the same cleaner/support worker each visit

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
