Summary of Role

The Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and organised working environment for our employees and visitors. The postholder will ensure all cleaning protocols are followed and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

9 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday, 5pm to 8pm, and Friday, 3pm to 6pm), plus ad-hoc holiday cover

Key responsibilities

Clean office areas, including desks, meeting rooms, kitchens and restrooms

Empty bins

To replenish hygiene consumables, e.g. soap, paper towels and toilet paper etc and advise management if stocks need replenishing

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards

Ensure all areas of the building are clean and tidy

Lock and secure office premises when required

Ensuring all correct products on all surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met

Follow all health and safety regulations

Able to schedule tasks to ensure all areas are cleaned.

Undertake all training necessary for the role

To perform the role in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and practices

To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.

Person Specification

To perform successfully in this role, you will need:

Essential

Experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred

Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment

A proactive and flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to changing situations and duties
