Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Cleaner at Trinity Church, Westhill, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the building. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexible hours, as there are many activities on throughout the week. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
1. Dust areas as necessary
2. Vacuum all carpeted floors
3. Wash vinyl/laminate floors
4. Empty bins in all areas
5. Wipe chairs as necessary
6. Stack chairs after Sunday services
7. Clean toilets and replace toilet rolls, paper towels and handwash as required
8. Clean kitchen and check hand towel dispensers
9. Put bins out for weekly collection
10. Ordering cleaning stores
Experience
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict cleanliness standards Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities and punctuality
