Overview

We are looking for a

reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner

to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our care home remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and ideally have previous experience working in a

care or nursing home

environment.

Duties

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff spaces Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times Ensure cleaning schedules are completed and recorded accurately Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines Support laundry duties when needed Treat residents and their belongings with respect at all times

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience in a care home or similar environment (preferred) A strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards in healthcare settings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and professional Must be able to pass a DBS check and provide references

Qualifications

Previous experience in care or nursing home is preferred, but not essential. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills with a focus on customer service. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently, including lifting and moving items as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning and hospitality services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.30-12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
