Wyke Regis Infant School and Nursery and Wyke Regis Junior School
We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, casual school cleaners to assist our current teams of staff responsible for the cleaning of the school premises at both Federation sites. These posts will be to cover any sickness absence and so will be on an as and when basis.
The successful candidates will assist in undertaken general cleaning duties provided a clean, hygienic and safe environment for learning and other school activities. The cleaning team hours of work at the Infant School are 3.15pm to 6.30pm, and for the Junior School 4.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. There is also a requirement to work in the school holiday periods, which may also need casual cover.
The posts are for immediate starts, so any suitable applicants will be interviewed as and when they apply, rather than on a specific date.

Keeping Children Safe in Education
The Federation will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
