Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Dental Practice Cleaner. As a key member of our practice team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our 6-surgery dental practice. Your attention
to detail and commitment to quality will ensure a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming Clean all areas of the practice, including patient areas (bathroom, waiting room, and reception), staff areas (bathroom and staff room/kitchen), and surgeries, to a high standard Empty bins and put waste out for disposal Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces Maintain the organisation and tidiness of storage areas and equipment Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Adhere to practice policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene Meet all confidentiality and Data Protection guidelines Inform the Practice Manager of cleaning stock that needs to be ordered Notify the Practice Manager of any repairs or defects on the premises that require attention

Requirements:

Experience in cleaning a dental practice is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided Ability to carry out training in the National Patient Safety Agency colour coding scheme and understand the requirements of cleaning a dental practice Ability to carry out training in GDPR and Data Protection Ability to carry out training on COSHH guidelines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable and honest with excellent time-keeping Fit enough to carry cleaning equipment up and down stairs Ability to work alone and be a key holder Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Good communication skills Flexibility to work evenings/early mornings
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.80-13.50 per hour
