Job Description

Busy day nursery in Didsbury requires a Caretaker/cleaner to work along side cleaning team.

Your responsibilities will be.

Daily clean and close down of the children's rooms.

Weekly deep cleans of each room.

Laundry duties

Restocking cleaning, sanitary and hygiene points

Cleaning public spaces and entrances.

Responsible for ensuring all areas are kept clean and hygenic.

General joinery, simple plumbing, and general repairs.

Keep all outside areas clean and maintained.

Carrying out any repairs or required maintenance and reporting to the nursery manager and carrying out risk assessments as required.

Overseeing outside contractors working in the nursery.

Key holding responsibilities and locking up and securing the nursery at the end of each evening.

Working to all policies and health and safety guidelines.

Knowledge of the safe use of cleaning equipment and use of cleaning chemicals and understanding of COSHH.

Hour will be during weekdays Tuesday to Saturdays which includes evening work.

Pay will be dependant on skills and experience

There will be opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays/sickness.

A full DBS check is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00-32,000.00 per year
