We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to provide high-quality cleaning and organisational support within private households or residential settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming environment, and delivering excellent customer service. Daily cleaning tasks as per cleaning schedules.
Restock of toilet rolls, soap dispensers as needed.
Shampoo of carpets as requested by the Housekeeper or the Person in Charge.
Participate in Staff and Client meetings as required Training & Development:
Attend mandatory training days/courses, on or off site, as and when required.
Maintain professional knowledge and competence.
Adhere to the Care Home's disposal of waste policy.
Report immediately to the Home Manager, or Person in Charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a Client, colleague, self or another.
Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Home's Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.
Report to the Home Manager, or the Handyperson, any faulty appliances, damaged furniture, equipment or any potential hazard.
Promote safe working practice in the Care Home.
Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Care Home.
Ensure that all information of confidential nature gained in the course of duty is not divulged to third parties.
Notify the Home Manager, or the Person in Charge, as soon as possible of your inability to report for duty, and also on your return to work from all periods of absence.
Ensure the security of the Care Home is maintained at all times.
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures within the defined timescales
Ensure all equipment used by you is clean and well maintained.
Carry out any other reasonable tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Experience
Previous experience in domestic cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Good command of English, both spoken and written
Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and politely with clients
Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between locations
Experience working independently with minimal supervision is advantageous
