Red Kite is a boutique holiday let management agency with a collection of homes full of personality and charm, that make great places to stay.

We are a small team that is growing quickly and therefore we are always on the lookout for exceptional housekeepers. We care deeply about what we do - providing outstanding service to all guests and owners.

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced housekeeper to take care of a 4 bedroom property in Maypole near Monmouth.

Our properties need to be cleaned to an exceptionally high standard in preparation for guest arrivals. We understand the important role our housekeepers play in making the house a home, and providing an amazing stay for all our guests. Your hard work is always appreciated.

You will be:

- Experienced - ideally (but not essential) within the holiday let sector.
- Committed, with a great eye for detail.
- Someone who can prioritise and has excellent time management skills.
- Flexible - We don't have set changeover days, so changeovers can happen any day of the week, including weekends. You will have full visibility of all bookings as they come in, so you can plan your diary.

Responsibilities include:

- A deep clean of all appliances (i.e. oven, fridge etc) at every changeover, and
- A full clean of the property, including floors, surfaces, skirtings etc, to ensure it is spotless for the next guests coming in.
- Look out for and raise, any maintenance issues or concerns with the friendly office team. We rely on you to bring to our attention anything broken, missing etc.
- Linens and towels need to be laundered and ironed off site and returned to the property for the next changeover. Therefore you need your own transportation.
- Check stock levels for tea, coffee, cleaning products, shower gel etc and refill as necessary.

All cleaning materials, vacuum, mop etc are supplied on site.

This is a self-employed role, with a competitive rate of 20-25 per hour for the right candidate. This is paid as a fixed fee per changeover, which includes the washing, drying and ironing of all linens at home.

Please note that all Housekeeper roles at Red Kite Hosts are subject to the following pre-employment checks upon being offered the role:

A Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. This will be initiated by Red Kite Hosts via our trusted partner organisation, and you will be asked to complete the process online.

Two professional references from previous employers or relevant roles. These must be provided before a formal offer can be made.
