Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a residential care home setting. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Shifts will be mornings (5 hour shift - times negotiable)Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and one day at the weekend (negotiable).

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise bathrooms, and other common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Ensure exterior areas are kept tidy and presentable Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and used safely. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to resident and visitor requests and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Follow health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.

Skills

Previous janitorial experience is highly desirable. Experience in the care industry is an advantage, particularly in housekeeping roles. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
