At Green Fox Cleaning, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated cleaning individual to join us as a cleaning area manager to oversee operations across multiple locations in various sectors, including schools, medical premises and office premises.
Working times for the role: Core working times will be 13:00 - 21:00hrs Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required to meet the ever-changing needs of the business. The role will be a split of office based work in Park Gate, plus visiting client sites across Southampton, Basingstoke and Newbury.
A company vehicle is available and a driver is essential.
Additionally, you will be on-call on a rota basis for weekend cover (typically one weekend in three) where you will hold an on-call phone and resolve any out of hours issues that may arise - this phone holding on call allowance has been factored into the salary, with additional payment made in the event you are required to attend a site when on call.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality service delivery to all client sites - this is what makes Green Fox stand out and continue to experience such rapid growth.
This role involves strategic planning, team management, and continuous improvement to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with the operations team to manage cleaning staff to optimise efficiency and productivity.
Training, inducting and managing cleaning team members.
Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and goals.
Provide support to develop site cleaning supervisors to develop them to manage their teams.
Complete site audits via our software, provide constructive feedback to cleaning team members working at the site, and implement training programs for continuous improvement.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management on area performance.
Managing poor performance issues in line with company policy.
Attend regular meetings with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and expectations, ensuring their expectations are fully met.
Provide regular updates on cleaning operations, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staffing.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Able to prioritise effectively and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a service environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal
