About this Role
We are looking for a Cleaning Assistant to work in Northallerton School and Sixth Form College. This role will provide a high quality, effective cleaning service to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. The post is required to work with cleaning equipment and products which contain chemicals, but the necessary protective clothing will be provided.
Job Details
This is a physically demanding role that requires a "can do" attitude, attention to detail, and strong time management skills. You'll need to be self-motivated, efficient, and able to take pride in maintaining high cleaning standards - even when working independently.

Your duties will include: Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
Emptying bins and managing waste responsibly
Replenishing supplies and reporting any issues or damages
Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential - training will be provided.
