Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust, comprising of eight schools, six primary schools and two 11 \xe2\x80\x93 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Cleaning Assistant to join the team at Carleton High School on a fixed term, maternity cover contract. The candidate will provide a clean and hygiening school environment, under the direction of the Premises Manager, which meets specified cleaning standards. They will be responsible for undertaking basic record keeping, reporting of fault equipment and maintaining an orderly and secure storage of supplies.

This is a 13.75 hours per week, term time plus ten days, equating to 200 working days per annum. The end date of this contract is 26th April 2024.

The working hours are 06:00 \xe2\x80\x93 08:45am Monday to Friday. Earlier starts would be considered.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

  • has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.
  • has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
  • has experience of working in a similar specialist area.
