Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team in Fairhill Shopping Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the shopping centre, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The hours are:

Thursday's 5pm to 9pm

Friday 4pm to 9pm

Saturday 10am to 5pm

Start date for this role is 1st November 2025

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Ensure all restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a healthy environment. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team. Excellent time management skills and reliability in attendance. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Join us in creating clean, safe spaces for our clients!

Pay: 12.59 per hour
