Location:

SERC, Ballynahinch



Hours Per Week: 20 hours,

Monday to Thursday 1:30pm - 5:30pm & Fri 12:00pm - 4:00pm



Job Type:

Permanent



The Cleaning Operative shall:




Sweep, suction clean, mop, dry buff, spray clean, spray wax, machine scrub and dry, strip and repolish floors using appropriate equipment Clean and remove stains of soft floor surfaces (carpets/matting) using the appropriate cleaning method Clean body fluids/solids from time to time using the appropriate cleaning method Clean toilet and shower areas including the fixtures and fittings and replenish toiletries. Clean, wash and dust ledges, walls, fixtures, fittings and internal surfaces. Polishing furniture where appropriate Empty and clean internal litter bins and remove litter to the designated collection points Use and care for any cleaning equipment issued in an appropriate and safe manner Complete all necessary paperwork Any other reasonable duties required by the Facilities Manager to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the contract



About You




Essential Criteria



1. Demonstrate previous experience in a similar cleaning role

2. Demonstrate and be able to speak conversational English



Desirable Criteria





1. BICS qualified
