Overview
DGS Service Solutions are recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Richmond Shopping Centre. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the shopping centre, The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
This role will be 3 early mornings on the morning clean e.g 6am to 9am and 1 afternoon shift eg 1pm - 6pm per week, this is scheduled on a weekly rota
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in assigned areas Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health and safety standards Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are serviced thoroughly and on time
Qualifications
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.31 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
